Company Security Officer (CSO)

The course allows the maintenance of CSO and SSO qualifications.

The training is in line with the requirements set in the IMO course model 3.20 and 3.19 and STCW Code.

Course Objective:

To obtain an adequate update on recently approved laws and decrees on maritime security.  The course allows the maintenance of CSO and SSO qualifications. In accordance with IMO requirements, the course is mandatory every 5 years.

– Presentation of the laws and decree of recently applications
– Refresh about “Ship Security Assessment, starting from potential threats, highlighting possible scenarios”
– Refresh about “How to perform a Ship Security Plan, with procedures to minimize the risks”
– Refresh about “Illustration of devices in common use for the prevention of threats and specific security procedures to be adopted in relation to threats taking place

Certificate:

USQC Attendance certificate issued upon successful completion of the final exam and is recognized by the most important Flag Administration in compliance with relevant IMO Model Course.
