Audience: Employees, quality coordinators, process owners, supervisors, and people beginning internal-auditor work.

Study time: 12–16 hours plus practical assignment

Completion rule: 70% final exam and Pass on practical assignment.

Certificate note: This course can issue a USQC course-completion certificate when the learner meets the stated requirements. It should not be described as accredited personnel certification unless USQC has a separately approved certification scheme.

Understand the course pathway, assessment rules, and the difference between a training certificate and personnel certification.

Lesson 02

QMS and audit foundations

Understand the process approach, audit criteria, scope, objectives, and the role of evidence.

Lesson 03

Internal-audit planning

Build a risk-based audit plan, select samples, and prepare useful questions.

Lesson 04

Interviewing and evidence trails

Use open questions, trace evidence through a process, and record what was actually verified.

Lesson 05

Findings and corrective action

Write criterion, evidence, and conclusion; distinguish correction, corrective action, and effectiveness.

Lesson 06

Internal-audit capstone

Complete an audit plan, evidence log, finding, and follow-up recommendation for a fictional organization.
